Background
Dilawar started as a web developer and has spent more than three years building full-stack products: websites and web apps with Next.js and React, mobile apps with React Native, and desktop software with Electron.js.
Client work took him from local Pakistani businesses to companies in Australia and South Africa, including an accounting firm, a disability support provider and a wholesale trader.
Today his work also covers backend development and AI automation: chatbots, AI agents and workflow automations that connect models such as GPT and Claude to a business's own data and tools.
Building companies
He works with a zero-to-one mindset: start small, ship something real, then grow it. Today he leads a team of developers, designers and marketers, and runs a portfolio of business websites alongside client work.
Teaching what he learns
On the DevKey Tech YouTube channel he shares his journey in Urdu and English for people who are starting out in development, starting an agency or starting their own company.
